Dallas-based Telligent said today that it has bought the assets of Zimbra, which provides messaging and collaboration software, and plans to change its name to Zimbra.
Telligent, develops software and services to create social communities, acquired Zimbra’s assets from Palo Alto, Calif.-based parent VMware.
